1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) outlines prohibited activities and content when using Galaxy Nexus services, including game servers, Discord bots, and Virtual Private Servers (VPS) provisioned after screening. Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination of services.

2. Illegal Activities

• Any activity illegal under Australian law
• Child exploitation or abuse materials
• Human trafficking or modern slavery content
• Drug trafficking or illegal drug sales
• Illegal weapons sales or instructions
• Fraud, scams, or deceptive practices

3. Abuse and Harassment

• Harassment, stalking, or intimidation of others
• Threats of violence or harm
• Doxxing or publishing private information
• Spam, phishing, or social engineering
• Unsolicited bulk communications

4. Network and Security

• Unauthorized access to systems or networks
• DDoS attacks or participation in botnets
• Port scanning or vulnerability probing
• Malware, viruses, or ransomware distribution
• Bypassing security measures or rate limits
• Interfering with other users' services
• Running services materially different from those described in your VPS access application

5. Copyright and Intellectual Property

• Pirated software, media, or content
• Unauthorized distribution of copyrighted materials
• Linking to pirated content
• Trademark infringement

6. Adult Content

Adult content is permitted only if legal in Australia and all users accessing the content have verified they are 18+. Any content depicting illegal activities or non-consensual acts is strictly prohibited.

7. Cryptocurrency and Mining

• Cryptocurrency mining requires explicit written consent and is only available on approved VPS plans
• Unauthorized mining will result in immediate termination
• Approved mining operations are subject to resource limits

8. Email and Communications

• No spam or bulk unsolicited email
• No email spoofing or forging headers
• No phishing websites or emails
• No mail bombing or flood attacks

9. Resource Usage

• Must stay within allocated resource limits
• No abusive resource consumption affecting other users
• Backups must not exceed reasonable storage limits
• Network bandwidth must be used lawfully

10. Prohibited Content Storage

• Large files not related to service purpose
• Backup archives exceeding account limits
• Illegal content of any kind

11. Enforcement

• First violations: Warning and 24-hour remediation period
• Severe violations: Immediate suspension without notice
• Repeat violations: Service termination
• VPS accounts that diverge from their approved use case may have access revoked without refund
• We may involve law enforcement for illegal activities

13. Policy Updates

This policy may be updated to address new threats or legal requirements. Users will be notified of material changes via email.
